Location You can be based in any of our DWP hubs: London, Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle and Blackpool. Please note that you will be required to be in London at least one day a week. About the job Universal Credit (UC) represents a fundamental change for Britain’s welfare system. It will create a fairer system administered by DWP, delivering support that is integrated and explicitly focused on ensuring that work always pays. It will reduce poverty and incentivise work. The UC Programme is a large and complex programme implementing this cornerstone of Welfare Reform, and this role is pivotal to successful delivery. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of delivering with knowledge and credibility at the most senior levels. You will be able to work with high levels of autonomy, but in concert with the Programme, UC Operations and DWP leadership to drive and identify UC improvements, negotiating agreements and providing creative solutions to complex problems. You will be a confident and articulate communicator, who is able to influence and challenge constructively, and who can demonstrate a clear track record in programme delivery.
