Agency Account Manager

In this role you will:

  • Maximise publishing sales revenue from a defined list of Advertising Agencies
  • Achieve targets in line with strategies, budget or relevant reforecast, primarily focused on maximising revenue, yield, share and profit
  • Drive business through your dedicated hub, sharing knowledge with colleagues to boost TI Media revenue
  • Develop personal sales strategies for individual agencies, identifying and tracking business prospects, and monitoring agency performance
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with relevant agency stakeholders (from junior through to senior level), ensuring that you are briefed on all relevant business
  • Negotiate and ensure that the highest rate is delivered on each piece of business
  • Maximise share out of your agency patch vs competitors
  • Seek out and contact all potential advertisers, driving all new business opportunities and upselling where possible across the business
  • Maintain knowledge of appointed agencies and clients, including market position and broad strategic objectives
  • Ensure that accurate and up to date client records are maintained at all times
  • Maintain a positive team player attitude in order to create team spirit
  • Ensure all administration connected with the sales process is accurate, timely and efficient (e.g. Salesforce CRM and bookings, emailed booking confirmations, inclusion of PO numbers etc)
  • Cultivate a thorough knowledge of the media industry and keep abreast of significant competitor brand developments

Requirements: 

  • Proven track record of success in ad sales and demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborative working style
  • Experience with publishing landscape and preferably agency trading

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Financial

  • This role is directly responsible for the achievement of Budget/RF publishing revenues for a defined list of agency clients
  • Achievement of the overall Agency Sales Publishing revenue target

Non-financial

  • Demonstrate core TI Media competencies through behaviour on a daily basis.
