Role: Analyst – Accounts Payable

Function: Finance

Location: Support Centre, Dunstable

Position: Permanent  

Essential Skill: Must be fluent in German speaking and writing

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance Shared Service Centre, here at our Support Centre in Dunstable Bedfordshire. This role will utilise your fluent German language skills (written and spoken) to fully support our growing German estate and undertake the processing of invoices, making payments to suppliers, handling supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements.

What you will be doing:  

  • Ensuring 100% accurate communications – both via email and over the phone – in German and English
  • Validate and approve invoices; identifying any errors, resolving issues and processing for payment
  • Manage and process any advance payments; ensuring correct approvals are in place
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments regarding price differences or quantity difference queries
  • Liaise with 3 parties to assist with complex invoices

What we will be looking for:

  • Previous work experience within an AP
  • Fluent in both German speaking and writing    
  • A professional manner when dealing with stakeholders in Germany, internal department in the UK and external 3rd parties
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Analytical skills to identify root cause    
  • Highly numerate and highly organised
