About the role:

We currently have exciting opportunities available for Support Workers to join our supported living and residential services based in Clifton, Bedfordshire. Both services are located on the same site and we are looking for friendly, caring and compassionate support workers to join our fantastic staff teams at either service.

Within our supported living service, we support 7 people with learning disabilities. They live within their own flats and we support them to access the local community, attend medical appointments, support with shopping and have great nights out such as attending the local social clubs and nightclubs. We also have a residential home located next door to this service. We support 9 adults within this service and support them to go out on the bus, go shopping, and attend activities such as sailing, bowling, night clubs, swimming and many more. Some of the people we support also access our resource centre located in Shefford.

As a Support Worker at Hft you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. In these roles, everything you do will enable people to have choices about their own lives, creating flexible services that meet people’s needs and always looking for the best way of doing things.

Sometimes it’s challenging, but it’s always rewarding. You’ll go to work knowing that you’re making a positive difference to someone’s life. And you’ll be working in a team of skilled, dedicated colleagues who’ll support you all the way.
