Position Summary

An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Nestlé Health Science business based at our head office in Gatwick on a 12 months fixed term contract. Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager for Medical Nutrition - Paediatrics, this role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our annual brand plans, ensuring flawless execution of these plans to deliver value add marketing mix activity across our specialist medical nutrition portfolio.

A day in the life of an Assistant Brand Manager

You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our Brand Managers develop and deliver flawless execution of brand plans across our Paediatric portfolio. Specifically focused on building and maintaining brand equity whilst contributing to I&R activity. This is a great role to gain experience within a medical nutrition environment, giving you exposure to a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll also:

 

  • Support the integrated commercial planning process and key deliverables.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and evaluating market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify market opportunities.
  • Lead the communication development process from insight generation through to differentiated competitive positioning.
  • Prepare reports; monitoring sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts; and adapt plans to improve the sales performance where needed.
  • Liaise with advertising and promotions specialists to design sales campaigns and sales collateral for brands that are effective and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Support the delivering on brand objectives, strategies and targets.
  • Work closely with Event Coordinators to ensure regional and national events are managed effectively, runny post event analysis to understand success and ROI.
What will make you successful

To be successful in this role you will already have some fantastic marketing experience under your belt, ideally working as an Assistant Brand Manager or Marketing Executive currently within medical nutrition/pharmaceuticals. If you have medical nutrition experience within a sales environment and are looking to move into marketing this could be an ideal opportunity. You will be passionate, tenacious; results focused and enjoy working in a highly energetic environment. Acting as an ambassador for the brand, you will have great project management skills and be highly organised.

 

You’ll also:

 

  • Have experience of supporting the development and execution of brand strategies.
  • Have a solid understanding on P&L’s and budget management being able to support on these activities. 
  • Be able to influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate great communication presentation skills, targeting a wide audience.
  • Have great analytical skills and a strategic mind-set.
  • Be well organised with sound knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
