Bidwells are looking for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join its highly regarded Fund Management team based in Norwich.

Assistant Facilities Manager Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Facilities Manager you will have responsibility for assisting with the management and delivery of services to multi-let sites and buildings, working closely with the Facilities Manager and Property Manager in our close knit Norwich sub-team as well as our wider Fund Management team.

You will have responsibility for supporting our clients and tenants by managing contractors, overseeing small works, undertaking health & safety monitoring and statutory compliance and aiding with financial management (including service charge budgeting and control of expenditure).

Assistant Facilities Manager Requirements:

- Relevant Facilities Management experience.
- Good contract administration and tendering skills.
- Experience in the management of H&S and other compliance-related activities.
- Direct management/supervision experience of staff/suppliers and third party contractors.
- Confident working with IT, including good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Propman (or similar).
- Experience of service charge budgeting/accounting and a working knowledge of commercial leases would be desirable.

We act on behalf of a range of clients including Cambridge Colleges, Institutions, Property Companies and Family trusts and manage diverse portfolios from science and business parks to city centre retail spaces. We aim to maximise the potential of our clients’ property assets and encourage clients to consider their property as a dynamic part of their overall investment strategy.

This is a part time role for a minimum of 3 days per week with working pattern/exact hours open to discussion.
