Assistant Project Worker Responsibilities:
You will assist the keyworker for the residents of the ESYMS. Taking an assests based approach you will coach them to identify their skills and talents both as a young woman and Mother, helping them to transition into move on accommodation while keeping safeguarding principles and practices at the core of your work.
These are exciting opportunities for you to use your experience and knowledge of supported housing and parenting at this service. You will need to be innovative, have the ability to work under pressure and possess the drive, passion and commitment to change lives.
Assistant Project Worker Requirements:
You should be an excellent communicator with an approachable nature and capable of dealing with young people in a calm and understanding way. roven ability to work with engage and relate to young people aged 16-25 years old is essential. Experience of working with babies or children and safeguarding is desirable.
A Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate will be required for these roles.

Our aim is to support people in achieving their full potential. We are currently going through a large period of growth and have a vacancy for Assistant Project Worker.
Location: East Sussex – Eastbourne and Newhaven (mainly Eastbourne based but cover in-between the 2 required on occasion)
Job type: Part time, Permanent, 24 hours per week, this includes every other Saturday
Salary: £10,882.56 per annum
