Bank Support Worker (Female Only)
I am a lady in my thirties who has been living in my own home for about ten years. I am looking for a female support worker who can help me stay safe at home and work towards my goals of becoming less dependent on others and more confident within myself.
I have recently been given this care package to support me to stay living in the community and not in hospital or residential care long term, it’s been in place since August so its still quite new to me and my staff.
I will love your company but I’m a very serious person and it will appear most of the time I don’t want you there, but I really do. I find day to day tasks time consuming and need consistent support from all my staff.
Bank Support Worker Requirements:
I require you to have a good understanding of Emotional unstable personality disorder, my primary diagnosis and OCD my secondary undiagnosed diagnosis. I require you to have experience working with and understanding the Positive Behavioural Support Model and use proactive strategies to effectively support me in staying safe and making the most of my opportunities within the community.
Most of all, I need you to be patient, this is the most important part of the role as I am very demanding of your time and talk constantly, I just need a lot of reassurance. I also need my staff to be non-judgemental whilst providing me motivation to partake in activities within the community and my daily tasks. I would like to spend time getting to know you, so I can feel safe in your company and build a positive relationship with you. I don’t have many interests at present, but I do enjoy Tennis once I’m motivated to go, I also like to go out for coffee and cake in town too. I enjoy visiting my family, I also have a dog and guinea pig that I enjoy looking after.
