We have an exciting new opportunity for a German speaking Banking Assistant based within our Finance Shared Service Centre function, based at our Support Centre in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. As the Banking Assistant you will play a critical role processing customer receipts and reconciling bank statements as well as processing cash from locations including transaction processing and reconciliation.

What you will be doing:


  • Responsible for voiding cheques as well as processing cheques 
  • Review and follow up chargebacks and post commission charges 
  • Review and follow up o lodgements and site discrepancies
  • Download bank statements
  • Set up new locations on our internal systems 
  • Process both German bank, Retails bank Reconciliation 
  • Take ownership of the relevant finance processes (manual & systems
  • Ensure full documentation is kept up to date and in place, ensuring process are consistent and in line with policy and financial standards.

  • Experience within an assistant or administration position with a Financial team or function
  • Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritise 
  • Good communication both written and verbal
