Position Summary

We are looking to recruit a Brand Manager to join our Food & Diary business based at our Head Office in Gatwick, reporting into the Marketing Manager. This role will be the marketing lead for our MAGGI brand focused on the convenient meal solutions category. With a primary focus on our Noodles Categories (3 minute noodles & world food noodles). This is a fantastic opportunity to help plan, develop and execute exciting marketing plans to support the profitable growth across this category for the MAGGI brand in the UK.

Our ambition for our Food division is to accelerate the Nestle journey of transformation through a healthier, sustainable by design portfolio, that connects consumer and customer needs digitally first.  Within the UK our role has always been to drive profitable growth and within our core categories of Flavour World and Noodles, addressing key trends such as NHW, relevance through eBusiness  and authentic Foods with MAGGI. A day in the life of a Brand Manager

As marketing lead for the convenient meal solutions category your primary focus will be take the strategic and operational lead for the portfolio through driving profitable growth across the brands coupled with supporting our expansion ambitions across the ambient snacking categories. Our focus is always to delight our consumers, through great brand building activities that set us apart from our competitors. You will be working daily with cross-functional teams to make your plans come to life with lots of autonomy and support to really thrive.

You will also:


• Deliver a winning strategy and plan, underpinned by consumer and customer insight, ensuring we have the tastiest and healthiest experiences that contributes to our Nestlé health and wellness aspirations.
• Develop and successfully execute consumer centric Bigger, Bolder and Better innovation & renovation, not only for the current Noodles portfolio, but also actively contributing and influences the CMS European team in above market innovation projects.
• Identify customer specific activation plans to ensure we maintain our market share.
• Track and analyse multiple internal and external brand performance metrics, being able to communicate knowledgeably and rapidly reasons for brand's performance to a variety of stakeholders, develop actions plans accordingly.
• Have P&L management responsibility, being able to carefully analyse the numbers to improve.
• Collaborate closely with CCSD and Sales colleagues on customer facing initiatives such as sell ins and category strategies.

Although this role focuses on the convenient meal solution category, there is the flexibility to be involved in wider projects across the Food & Diary business to support your development.

What will make you successful

As the successful candidate, you will be the champion for the brand throughout the organisation so you’ll need to be passionate, tenacious, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment. You will already have some great marketing, project management and analytical experience coupled with your highly organised, conscientious approach. Pro-activity and tenacity are essential, as is your ability to understand and work within our competitive market.  You’ll already have developed marketing experience as an Assistant Brand Manager or ideally Brand Manager which will give you the experience you need to drive this great brand forward.


You will also:


• Have exposure within FMCG Marketing and ideally some sales experience.
• Demonstrate strong presentation skills, targeting a wide audience from customers to internal stakeholders. 
• Be able to run sizable projects and work streams from concept to delivery.
• Be able to demonstrate your experience of leading major new product launches.
• Have a huge passion and entrepreneurial spirit to unlock the potential of our brands.
• Have great data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Have the ability to build great relationships with internal stakeholders across various backgrounds and  levels, working collaboratively to influence multiple projects that drive results.
• Be able to showcase excellent communication and project management skills.
• Be passionate to build and grow brands, with ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
