The Business Development & Marketing Department is responsible for all aspects of BD and marketing for the firm. The Team focus on the twin objectives of Revenue Generation and Reputation Enhancement. As a department, we consider ourselves to be commercially minded, proactive & creative - qualities which we would appreciate in a candidate.
Responsibilities Create and maintain "About Us" documents for all active practices and sectors and produce credentials sheets for bids and other pitching situations. This role will be 21 - 28 hours per week (maximum), please contact for further details.
Locate information from existing databases (such as credentials database, bidding library, and previous proposals), knowledge sources such as intranet deals, deals lists and databases and directories. Share draft of content with requester e.g. Practice/Sector Partner and BD/Bids person Create outputs using agreed templates (PowerPoint, Publisher, Word) Ensure text and commentary meets brand guidelines and is 'commercial' i.e. includes a value proposition and provides "a call to action" Save completed output to correct workspaces Continuously improve the format/content of outputs to reflect client engagement needs and or develop new templates that are reflective of market trends Key Skills & Experience Possesses credentials collation and research expertise Experienced in collating and creating BD collateral Understands legal services and or professional services and able to deal directly with fee earners Able to work to deadlines and managing multiple projects Creative mind-set Fully conversant with PPT, Publisher and knowledgeable of InDesign
