What is the purpose of this role?
Accountable to the People and Process Manager, supporting the Transpire Alliance T&E function with a wide range of business support services ensuring effective coordination of Business Support.
What will this role involve?
Lead business support duties ensuring delivery to deadlines
Coordinate projects or specific work packages related to People, Change Management and Business & Process Improvement as assigned. Ownership of duties relating to Employee lifecycle relevant to the T&E Function
Maintain systems and proactively manipulate systems and spreadsheets; run reports as required. Use the SAP finance system for invoice processing.
Assist ACM and Project Commercial Team with subcontractor time and expense checks
Allocation of vehicle and fuel costs to WBS codes
Collate TMS back up for travel costs to support applications for payment
Amin support for Project and NOP Commercial team
Lead the following:
Weekly Plant meeting with T&E Operations team
Raising Plant and Tools requests, off hiring and servicing and liaising with HSS.
Management of Plant allocation within SAP and allocation to WBS codes
Maintain, update, distribute information
Undertake general ARL T&E team administrative duties as and when required
Ordering, raising POs, receipting, dealing with parked and blocked issues on SAP
Provide business support cover including but not limited to new starters / leavers and co-ordination of meetings, travel, accommodation

Being a point of contact to the Transpire Alliance Track & Electrification Function in relation to Transpire and Amey Rail people related initiatives and processes
Successful support to the Commercial and T&E Operational team to achieve efficiencies and costs savings in relation to role responsibilites
What are we looking for?

- Experience of Business Support in a Construction/Infrastructure environment
- Ability to chair meetings and track actions
- Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently on a wide variety of Business Support related issues as they arise
- Highly competent levels of IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, use of SAP system
