About the role:
The Caretaker will provide an effective caretaker management service across a public open space ensuring that people who have the use of estate services are provided with a high-quality service.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the estate, to carry out basic repairs and maintenance whilst ensuring compliance with the Associations Health and Safety and COSHH guidance is adhered to.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of carrying out maintenance and repairs with general maintenance knowledge, including minor property repairs. You must also have good knowledge and experience of, and the ability to observe Health & Safety regulations at all times.
The role requires someone who has a strong customer service focus and is able to deal with people, good communication skills are essential. You should also have good Numeracy and Literacy skills. The right candidate will have good organisational skills and be able to prioritise their workload as well as working well under pressure and to deadlines.
You should have a flexible attitude the duties and hours worked and be willing to undertake and attend training course.
A Health and Safety qualification would advantageous as would Basic It skills and a clean driving license.
You may have experience of the following: Caretaker, Maintenance Operative, Handyman, Repairs, Health and Safety, DIY, Estates Management, COSHH, Health and Safety, Electrician, Carpenter, Joiner, Plumber, Maintenance Engineer, Engineer, Facilities Management etc.
