This is an excellent opportunity to become ‘hands on’ showing off your excellent cooking together with your management and leaderships skills. In return you will be offered excellent training and the opportunity for career progression.
This role will be working Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week, Term Time only.
Salary starts from £18,738 – £22,873 depending on the school and experience.
-Direct the catering team in the preparation, cooking and consistent presentation of all menus.
-Lead and manage all staff, ensuring they are trained and complying with legislation and policies
-Effectively plan and direct the deployment of resources of the catering service (food, staff, equipment and cleaning materials)
-Manage the financial budget to a cost effective standard whilst meeting needs of both customers and clients.
-Devise innovative menus using fresh quality ingredients and introduce new concepts and initiatives as required
-Proactively market and promote the Catering service utilising the brand resources to drives sales
-Carry out recruitment, induction and job training as needed
-Build strong relationships with client representatives and integrate with the school student council and other forums
