Will you keep watch whilst vulnerable adults and children sleep?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Centre Night Manager to join our excellent multi-disciplinary team, ensuring seamless person-centred care with the Day Managers to provide 24-hour cover cross the site. This role ensures safeguarding at night and promotes the welfare of children, vulnerable adults and young people.

You will have experience of working in a care setting and understand the specialised support that people with a learning disabilities need to reach their full potential. An effective team leader, comfortable working across professional services, you will hold a QCF Level 3 in Care or RMA Level 4 and will be responsible for the care staff rota to ensure an adequate level of supervision to meet our residents’ needs. Hours of work are 44 hours over 8 nights – 4 nights on, 4 nights off (11 hours per night 8:30pm – 7.30am with 30 minutes paid break).

St Elizabeth’s is situated in approximately 60 acres of Hertfordshire parkland between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. We support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs from the age of 5 through to 78 in our Children’s Home, School, College, Residential Homes with nursing and Day Centre.
