Reporting directly to the Group Head of Claims, we are recruiting for a new role for a Claims Operations Manager to join the team in London/Essex but working on a national basis. Working to develop, drive and deliver the claims operational strategy, you will join the claims leadership team supporting the Group Head of Claims with specific projects to enhance the PIB claims proposition to include optimising customer satisfaction, efficiency, and productivity. Whilst there would be no technical claims handling involved in this role, an understanding of claims management is crucial to support growth within the department.
Along with the Group Head of Claims, develop, implement, and maintain a claims strategic roadmap for the evolution of PIB claims excellence, with a focus on customer service
Building, developing, and reporting a data and analytical claims reporting model
Engaging with the PIB trading divisions to bring to life a clear and consistent claims proposition based upon the customers and business needs
To advocate and drive continuous improvement
Responsibility for the implementation and reporting of claims quality assurance and peer review
Driving compliance and measurement against internal controls and industry standards
Liaising with external parties, such as insurers, lawyers, loss adjusters, & TPAs
Preparation and presentation of claims data for monthly and quarterly reporting
Working alongside the Group Head of Claims and Regional Claims Managers to managing resource capacity
Assisting with or assuming full responsibility for claims projects including horizon planning
Supporting performance across the PIB Group
Experience and Skills:
Previous experience in Claims Operations from an Insurer, Intermediary or Broker within the Lloyd's of London Company Market essential
Highly developed commercial and analytical skills
Skilled in decision making to optimise results
Strong influencing skills and able to demonstrate forward thinking
Effective organisational and prioritisation skills
Attained or working towards gaining their ACII qualifications.
