Commercial Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover)

Purpose of the post:

The Commercial Marketing Manager is responsible for the successful development and implementation of the marketing plans for the MCEL and MCIL businesses with a particular focus on digital marketing. He/she will report principally to the Commercial Manager, other than in respect of work relating to College Guardians and MCIL, which are both overseen by the Director of International Schools. As a member of the College’s Support Staff, the Commercial Marketing Manager is ultimately accountable to the Bursar for the proper performance of his/her duties.

Key Duties:

- Consult and work with heads of business to lead on design and delivery of all strategic marketing activities in line with key business objectives
- Lead and manage creative projects and campaigns for all marketing channels
- Oversee and manage multiple digital campaigns
- Manage brand communications, ensuring quality and true representation for each business unit
- Manage external and internal stakeholder communications
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process and manage marketing budgets and cost controlling
- Look to develop online channels to achieve business objectives – website, social media and email marketing
- Manage the day to day editing, content management and maintenance of all Malvern College Enterprise websites including routine technical SEO tasks
- Liaise with agencies and creative service providers to ensure best outcomes in line with budgets
- Project manage new website development where and when necessary
- Measure success through appropriate use of Google Analytics and other analytics services
- Co-ordinate the production of marketing materials e.g. brochures, flyers
- Coordinate marketing photography and videography where necessary
- Promote the reputation of all business areas internally within the College community and externally within the local community through developing appropriate media and PR opportunities
- Maintain close liaison and establish regular meetings with the College marketing team
