Content Manager - Part time


Summary: We are disrupting the office furniture industry by creating stylish offices at 80% less environmental impact and half the cost of furniture made from virgin resources. At the heart of our marketing is educating potential clients on the topics of the Circular Economy, Net Zero Carbon, wellness, social value creation and other sustainability subjects. We are looking for a part-time Content Manager to improve the quality, reach and regularity of our content marketing. The successful candidate will have subject matter knowledge on and a passion for sustainability, as well as experience creating, uploading and managing content across multiple platforms including blogs, newsletters, social media, email, case studies and websites. You will enjoy staying abreast of sustainability developments and the company’s progress and concisely capturing these for sharing with others. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Position: This is a hands on-role; the Content Manager will conduct their own research, write, edit and publishing content that suits our target audiences. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently to deliver insightful content across our priority platforms to connect with our target audiences. Duties include tracking and measuring performance across the various platforms and identifying opportunities to improve our reach. Initially this role will be a three days per week and may grow into a full-time role. Key Responsibilities include: Managing content for newsletters, blogs, case studies, social media and websites. This includes:­Developing content plans with the rest of the Sales and Marketing team.­Researching, writing and editing content for publication, tailored to key audiences in line with planned schedules, themes and topics.­Monitoring and managing content, discussions, and relevant activities on social media to grow the number of followers in targeted sectors and audiences.­Reviewing and recommending improvements on all platforms including content and choice of platform.­Tracking web traffic analytics to ascertain content engagement levels and learn how users interact with the site and recommend improvements.­Conducting website audits to identify gaps, redundancies, broken links, underperformance, poor content (written, graphic, video), sub-optimal content layout, missing key messages, and review the usability of the site.­Recycling and updating evergreen content on our website and blogs.Managing email addresses for newsletter mailouts, including updating contact details and adding new contacts.Providing editorial, creative and technical support to external parties when relevant, including to our clients, partner companies, PR agencies, and journalists.If required, managing outsourced contractors such as other writers, graphic designers, photographers, and videographersTracking and measuring performance and improving overall efficiency of the role and its activities. Location: Once COVID restrictions are lifted, you will be based at Rype Office’s premises in West London. Some home working is possible. Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.
