The Role:

We are recruiting for an experienced Corporate Account Handler to join our Speciality team to assist the Account Executives with both the retention of the existing customers by continual development of relationships and delivery of customer service standards and the targeting of new clients .You will be responsible for the renewal and new business procedures to be followed as per standard operating procedures, dealing with quotes, account procedures and queries.

You will be competent and knowledgeable around corporate insurance. Your experience will be from commercial and general insurance with sound knowledge of Transportation, Motor, Property and Liability insurance. Experience of Professional Indemnity, Management Liability and Cyber Liability would be useful.

This role will suit those working towards their CII qualification (or similar), having the ability to build excellent rapport with clients and stakeholders. This role also offers flexibility to be able to work from home as well as in the office.

Location: Based in Central Glasgow, with good transport links for buses and Glasgow train station is only a short distance from the office, however working from home will be part of the working mix.

- Robust commercial insurance experience; knowledge of General Insurance contracts including property, transportation, motor, and liability
- Financial lines experience would be useful
- Working towards Cert CII (or equivalent experience),
- A positive attitude and a desire to do things right,
- You will be able to multi-task, work under pressure, within a timely manner and with a high attention to detail,
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge and experience of Acturis is preferred
