About the Role
As an established staff member you will be part of the team teaching on our accredited Level 2, 3 and 4 Counselling courses, as well as non-accredited and introductory courses.
You will work closely with the Programme Manager for Care and Counselling to help to design, plan and deliver an exciting range of courses which stretch and challenge our learners, as well as preparing a variety of learning materials, providing guidance to learners on progression options, attending termly meetings and completing course administration relating to Internal Quality Assurance.
You will also carry out IAG and take part in Open Days.
The successful candidate will hold a Full Adult teaching qualification e.g. Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent, a Counselling Qualification minimum L4, and have experience of teaching on counselling qualification courses. You will also have some experience in counselling practice, including supervision.
You should be a BACP accredited member. Candidates will be offered ongoing continual professional development as per the BACP requirements.
Ideally, you should have experience and qualifications in assessing work in line with Internal Quality Assurance processes, or willingness to work towards these.
You should be familiar with the integrative model of theory as well as other models such as Freud and Rogers.
