Position: Credit Control Administrator

About the role:
You will be responsible for ensuring repayment plans are being met by our members and helping members experiencing financial difficulties with finding suitable and affordable repayment plans, in line with the policies and procedures set out by the Credit Union.
This role offers real diversity and variety. Strong communication skills with a good attention to detail and a compassionate approach is at the heart of this role as you’ll have lots of interaction with our members, as well as play a critical role in the debt collection process.
This role is perfect for a strong credit control or finance administrator looking for a new challenge, or a recent graduate with some office-based experience with good initiative looking to work and grow with a successful and professional organisation.
-Debt Collection - communicating with members in arrears with their loan repayments by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales.
-Negotiate repayment plans and assess affordability of members experiencing difficulties.
-Update and assess affordability of repayment plans already in place.
-Ensure compliance with the requirements of the PRA and the FCA and other regulatory organisations.
-Adhere to the core values of Commsave Credit Union including outstanding customer service and treating customers fairly policy.
-To assist the Team Leader with any other administration tasks as required.

-Decision making experience in making sound decisions based on policy and procedures
-Ability to probe and enquire to gather all relevant information to support decision making
-Can demonstrate examples of having a good level of empathy when dealing with customers
-Ability to use Microsoft suite of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
