Position Summary

Nestlé Confectionery have an opportunity in the Customer Category Management team in York or Gatwick for someone to lead the implementation of the Category Strategy within the Out Of Home Channel.

 

The role will require the candidate to work with teams based in both York and in Gatwick which will necessitate some travel for business meetings from time to time. Travel should also be expected for the Customer contact necessary to drive a winning agenda and activities.

 

(The travel set out is under normal non-Covid circumstances).

A day in the life of...

 

As a Customer Category Manager your role will be to lead the adoption of the Confectionery Category strategy within the OOH Customers under your responsibility and influence ranging, placement and support activities to unlock the Category growth opportunities that deliver the triple win benefits for Shoppers, the Customer and for Nestle as a leading force in driving profitable growth.

 

Your external responsibilities will be balanced by a need to internally engage stakeholders to provide plans that help to engage Customers and unlock a profitable growth agenda.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the Customer engagement around the Category Strategy agreeing areas of opportunity and clear action plans
  • Be the leading voice to the Customer to effectively influence their ranging and point of purchase execution
  • Build external customer networks and relationships to influence and lead the Customers thinking and actions
  • Lead the customers category insight into effective internal Commercial Planning of opportunities and targets
What will make you successful

 

Ideally, we need someone with Category Management and OOH experiences demonstrated in a deep knowledge of the OOH market coupled with sound commercial perspectives. This role could be a platform for either a Marketer, Salesperson or Buyer wishing to broaden their existing relevant skills.

 

You’ll be an energised and results driven individual with an ability to connect insights and build them into credible and effective commercial proposals

 

Candidates must have the ability to credibly engage stakeholders, build powerful relationships and work as part of a bigger team to achieve results
