Customer Service Assistant (zero hour)
This is a customer service job with a difference. You’ll be working outside in the wonderful city that is London greeting people from all over the world and making sure they have an unforgettable experience with Thames Clippers!
The Role: Working on any one of our 22 piers along the Thames, you will welcome all members of the public; selling them the right ticket to travel and assisting them with their journey with us on our boats.

You: We’re looking for people who love working and engaging with the public and making their experiences as memorable as possible!
We will give you full training on our varied ticket types and you will be comfortable approaching customers and selling them the appropriate ticket.
You will be a great communicator, friendly and approachable and always wanting to deliver the best customer service possible.
And, you won’t mind working outdoors or being on your feet all day and will thrive in a busy environment, maintaining empathy even when it gets really busy!
When: Our assessment centres are held at the Preview Centre a short walk from North Greenwich tube and bus station on the following dates (visit here for directions: https://careers.aegeurope.com/faqs):
- 16 March 2020 assessment centre 9.15am or 2pm: You will then start the role on 30 March 2020.
- 2 April 2020 assessment centre 9.15am or 2pm: You will then start the role on 20 April 2020.
Important Information: We use assessment centres to give you plenty of information about the company, the role and how we work. They are fun and informative and a great way for you to learn all about us whilst we find out about you!
We pick the dates for assessments in advance, so we can ensure we have the right assessors available to meet with you. If you cannot make the above date, why not apply next time.
