Data Administrator (Charity)

Pact is a national charity that provides support to prisoners, people with convictions, and their families both in prison and the community. We believe in inter-dependence and in the fundamental importance of healthy relationships and the family to reduce the chances of re-offending and intergenerational crime. With this at the core, we are developing a new innovative family service pilot in partnership with HMP Brixton, HMPPS and Porticus, that will deliver an end to end integrated rehabilitation and resettlement support programme to prisoners and their children and families. The service will ensure prisoners, their children, carers and other relatives have access to appropriate advice, guidance, learning opportunities, care and support to better enable them to maintain or enhance positive relationships, from the first day of arrival at Brixton prison, to up to 6 months post release.

About the role:

This is an opportunity for an excellent administrator with great IT and people skills to join a ground-breaking new programme which will reduce re-offending, build stronger families, and show the way forward in prisoner care & resettlement.

You will collect and collate confidential monitoring, evaluation and referral data for our performance reports, working within strict information security and confidentiality policies. Your work to ensure our data is accurate and clear will be crucial in enabling us to evaluate and measure the impact of the programme, in partnership with a major University. You will provide a full range of flexible administrative support services to the team to enable us to operate efficiently and effectively, including providing secretariat support for meetings, including a high level Advisory Board.

About you:

You will have demonstrable experience of working flexibly to provide a wide range of administrative support to a busy team, including good minute taking skills and experience of organising and supporting meetings. You will also be confident in using standard IT packages and be experienced in accurate data entry, record-keeping and analysis. With good people skills, you will foster positive working relationships and a spirit of co-operation with colleagues and between Pact, HM Prison Service, and other agencies with whom we work. As a role model and ambassador for Pact, you will demonstrate our ethos and values, including positive, healthy relationships; reflective practice; partnership-building; teamwork; flexible thinking; creativity and transparency.
