Deputy Director, Geospatial Commission

The Deputy Director role is newly created to help deliver the objectives of the Geospatial Commission. This is a critical post in the centre of government with the chance to deliver a bold and far-reaching agenda.

The post holder will set the Implementation strategy for the Commission, selecting the key initiatives that will unlock economic value, and driving their delivery and evaluation. The multi-functional team will take projects from early inception through to delivery and evaluation.

The post holder will work with a significant degree of independence to shape an initial programme of work and develop the team.

Existing knowledge of the subject matter would be a key strength, as would an understanding or experience of operating at the centre of government. Delivering projects to budget and on time will be key accountabilities.
