Role Title: Director, Customer Design
Location: Flexible on location. When opened you will be based in one of HMRCs Regional Centres in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Croydon, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham or Stratford. However, regular travel will be required, including a regular presence in London.

The Director for Customer Design will drive improvements in customer experience, in a way that helps raise revenue for public services and makes it easy to get tax right.
The Director will use insight to embed a customer focussed approach across HMRC as a whole, working with the external experts on HMRC’s new Customer Experience Committee.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven leader who has a track record of drawing on customer insight to drive change, and experience of working in fast paced environments.
