EMEA Marketing Assistant - 7 month FTC - Part-Time (3 days/week)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a EMEA Marketing Assistant to join us for a 7 month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support the business across EMEA for a key product launch.

Job Description

Reporting to the EMEA Marketing & DTC Manager for Home Care you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide fact-checking (proofing), copy-editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of literature, mailers, website content and other promotional materials
  • Update and amend existing copy and artwork for marketing/promotional materials
  • Design new marketing/promotional materials (basic level only) as required
  • Routes all promotional and marketing materials through the regulatory approval process (R004)
  • Researches market trends, demographics, pricing strategies, and other relevant information that help develop marketing plans
  • Analyse surveys and other market research to look for patterns and trends
  • Create reports and graphs through detailed data analysis
  • Enter marketing data into spreadsheets and helps to create data and financial reports
  • Deliver reports on research findings through written documents and verbal presentations
  • Help to plan promotional events such as customer study days and exhibitions including the preparation of annex and Huron documentation
  • Help to plan and organise internal product and service training days, ensuring all presentations are up-to-date and appropriate marketing materials/product samples are available
  • Help maintain Facebook social media accounts through the use of compliant tools with regulatory requirements and SOPs
  • Help maintain company websites and campaign landing pages, reviewing search engine optimisation (SEO) and Google Analytics reports
  • Review stock-holding of literature/promotional items and product starter packs (ISC, MEC, UDB) using appropriate reports and re-orders stock with approval
  • Create Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) campaigns (pay per click, direct mail and email) to gain and retain patients onto Bard/BD products through homecare channel
  • Monitor the success of DTC campaigns, regularly reporting KPIs and optimises the campaigns to improve performance
  • Help maintain excellent client relationships through superior customer service skills
  • Keep patient and healthcare professional information confidential as per GDPR requirements
  • Assisting and providing administrative support
  • To be successful in this role you will either have previous experience as a marketing assistant, or a graduate with a marketing degree / CIM diploma qualification looking for their first role. Attention to detail and excel skills are essential for this role as are strong communication skills. You will be organised with a project management approach to work.
