An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team at Access Creative College Manchester, reporting to the Engagement Coordinator working flexibly around the needs of the business to recruit and engage learners across our curriculum offer. The successful candidate will generate and facilitate recruitment to Access Creative College, as identified in the centre’s business plan and targets, to include the recruitment of students to ESFA funded provision.
Access Creative College is a national FE and HE training provider delivering courses in Music, Games, Digital Media and Events across our seven UK locations. Now in our 26th academic year and serving more than 2000 learners over Levels 1-5, Access Creative College has a well-established reputation for music courses. We've been part of Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and JP Cooper's journey to stardom. For the past two years, we have been striving to provide that same well-respected education to a new generation of gamers, photographers and digital and media creatives. The role will involve working across the region on the following:
- Working towards agreed targets for EFA student recruitment
- Researching and developing engagement opportunities
- Delivering and/or supporting client‐focused activities to stakeholders and students
- Supporting and delivering marketing events and activities
- Lead generation and tracking
- Keep warm activities
- Generating PR and social media content
Essential Experience and Qualifications
- Experience of marketing and promotional work
- Experience of distributing digital content and marketing materials
- Experience in conducting market research and analysis
- Literacy and numeracy at level 2 (GCSE) or above
- Experience and understanding of equality and diversity strategies and practice in marketing and promoting business/learning opportunities
The role will be within the national team of Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions, but based at a regional Access Creative College. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be a distinct advantage.
Your main contacts will be Schools, academies, 6th forms, colleges, community learning providers, NEET groups, community centres, youth centres, careers services, referral agencies, music, art hubs and bridge organisations, potential students, parents, employers etc and training provider networks.
