Female Support Worker

You will join us as a Female Support Worker to work with the client and family as part of a rehabilitation plan and assisting in any needs required.

Female Support Worker Responsibilities:

To work within a small team to provide a flexible support service to an adult female with a spinal cord injury.

Female Support Worker Requirements:

The role will mainly require all aspects of personal and domestic care tasks to be undertaken. Must be honest and reliable and have excellent interpersonal and interaction skills. No experience is necessary and as the most important factor is being able to get on with the client. On the job training will be undertaken.

The applicant should have a full clean manual driving licence and be willing to drive clients own wheelchair accessible vehicle.

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.

Location: Darwen, Lancashire

Job type: Part time, Permanent; Approx. 20 hours per week; Week 1= 21 hours, week 2= 19 hours and week 3= 16 hours. Hours ranging from between 08:00hrs to 21:00hrs

Salary: £9.25per hour weekday rate, £10.00 per hour weekend rate. Sleepover rate - £8.21 per hour
