As part of our fast-paced and dynamic Restaurants Finance team, this is a great opportunity for a part-qualified commercial accountant to join our team. You’ll be instrumental in our customers experiences as this role supports the financial planning of our excellent menus; providing valuable insight into the underlying drivers of our menus performance – covering both dish and category level.

What you will be doing:

  • Analysing complex data from our Restaurants estate, you’ll providing meaningful insight to support decision making on the most critical element of our Restaurants experience – our menu! Considering the impact of price, cost inflation, saving, mix on covers and margin to provide effective decision-support
  • You’ll reporting the performance of trials so that we maximise returns of new items
  • With the guidance of our F&B Finance Manager, you’ll also have the opportunity to take on new and diverse projects 

Why we’d love you to apply:

  • This is a complex role and we’ll need you to be a part-qualified accountant; someone who has already begun either their CIMA or ACCA and can out this knowledge in to practice from day 1
  • Degree-qualified at 2:1 or above in a relevant discipline – accounting, finance, economics, business etc will ensure you have the foundation knowledge to get to grips with this role quickly
  • Coming from an analytical role; you’ll have had experience of analysing both complex and high-volumes of data; you’ll need to be able to get to the root cause of an issue swiftly and convert that in to an insightful story to share with stakeholders (both finance and non-finance)
  • You’ll also have a practical understanding of operational business drivers and levers that impact sales and margin
  • Combined with these technical skills, you’ll also be passionate about people and able to collaborate effective across multiple functions and build strong working relationships
