Financial Crime Advisor – (Part-Time / Job-Share / Full-Time) Location: Flexible The opportunity:

Anopportunity has arisen for a Financial Crime professional to join the UKOperations team.

You willassist and support the development, implementation and monitoring of FinancialCrime operations requirements within the first line, providing support to thebusiness in how to embed Financial Crime Policy requirements within thebusiness operations, support the Governance Structure and carry out first linecontrols testing over financial crime controls.

This role is available part-time,job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles,and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, execute and report on controls testing over the first linecontrols environment
  • Collate, interrogate and present Management Information sourced fromacross the business in support of the Financial Crime Governance Structure
  • Supporting the business in development and maintenance of appropriatecontrols and procedures to ensure compliance with AML, CTF Sanctions and DPAincluding the statutory DPA obligations
  • Supporting the business in the conduct of financial crime relatedassurance activities, both internally and externally, providing assurance onthe effective functioning of the financial crime control framework
  • Conducting AML, Sanctions, Anti-bribery and other financial crimerelated activities in order to support the effective operation and managementof the financial crime control framework and related policies
  • Support the business, AML handler networks and any appropriatedevelopment activity, in respect of resolution of any AML or sanctionsoperational queries
  • Support continuous improvement activity of Financial crime relatedcontrols and processes
  • Identify and investigate breaches and incidents relating to theFinancial Crime Risk Management control environment
  • Support the business to progress action plans associated with riskassessment, assurance findings and as a result of breaches or issues
  • Your skills and experience:
  • Awareness of key Financial Crime (incl. AML, Sanctions and AB&AC)regulatory requirements and practical application of the same or extensiveknowledge of Zurich products and policy administration systems
  • ICA or ACAMs qualifications would be an advantage, or a strong knowledgeof General Insurance plus previous experience in a Financial Crime environment
