We are currently looking to recruit 1 G3 Operational Support Manager at either NCA London / Warrington/ East Midlands office.

This is a role within the Incident Management and Outreach teams within the National Cyber Crime Unit of NCA. The team is the primary vehicle for developing and maintaining operational relationships with Team Cyber UK units.

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of tactical advice and support to reactive / pro-active cyber investigations being conducted by UK Law Enforcement Agencies and partners such as ROCUs (Regional Organised Crime Unit) and other national and international law enforcement Agencies in delivering Criminal justice outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate would:

• Pro- actively coordinate regional cybercrime teams (ROCUs) to ensure that the whole system approach is utilised to achieve strategic objectives.
• Provide specialist tactical and technical investigative advice across UK cyber investigations.
• Work with internal specialist NCCU teams to leverage capability in support of Team Cyber UK investigations.
• Manage investigations in support of partner led operations.
• Attend strategic governance meetings across ROCUs.
• Build working relationships as appropriate with internal and external industry to support and enhance operational capabilities
• Chair regular meetings of key stakeholders from across the Team Cyber UK network to ensure that strategic objectives are delivered.

The successful candidate will be required to regularly travel across UK and overseas in support of operational outcomes and represent the Agency at various Law Enforcement / Partners forums.

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of managing complex cyber investigations achieving a criminal justice outcome.
• Comprehensive understanding of UK legislation that enables the deployment of pro-active tactics and intelligence gathering techniques in order to exploit evidence gathering opportunities.
• Extensive experience of identifying partnership opportunities and maintaining strategic relationships.
• PIP 2 qualified.
• PIP 2 supervisor or equivalent recognised qualification / accreditation.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of leading a team of experienced investigators and intelligence officers.
• An understanding of NCCU capabilities

Travel can be expected as part of this role.
