Our role is to protect children and young people from sexual abuse and exploitation through education.

We are looking to recruit number x G4 Standalone Specialist Managers to join our Education Team within CEOP.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Education Manager you will be right at the centre of our work, helping to manage and develop the Thinkuknow education programme. You will:

• Help translate the very latest research and intelligence into educational content / resources.
• Ensure the cost-effective and efficient delivery of educational resources to children in a wide variety of settings and environments, using both online and offline media.
• Build effective internal and external partner relations and work collaboratively with stakeholders and external agencies.
• Assist with the coordination of day to day activity of the team.
• Support performance management, planning and governance of the team.
• Deliver presentations and workshops with professionals, parents, children and young people when required.

Technical skills

We'll assess you against these technical skills during the selection process:

  • National Insurance Number - Required for monitoring purposes only
  • Proven understanding of the online environment, the risks involved and how children are using it.
  • In depth understanding of the risk presented by online sexual abuse and exploitation. You will understand the opportunities and risks presented by the internet and strategies to help keep children safer online.
  • Experience of public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Experience of project managing educational resources, child safeguarding and/or communications, with knowledge on effective preventative education strategies.
  • Experience working with partner organisations to develop integrated plans & joint deliverables, contributing to the overall mission.Proven ability to represent the NCA at national conferences/meetings & partnership skills to build strategic relationships
