This is an exciting new role leading Missing People’s first Business Development Unit focused on statutory funding, commissioned services, and innovative pilots. The Head of Business Development will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategy to increase impact and income in this area - in time to over £1m. You will lead a team of high-performing individuals, who have experience of managing and/ or bidding for commissioned services and projects to deliver that strategy. Head of Business Development Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Policy and Development, you will work closely with Directors, the CEO and the Fundraising team to secure funding for pilots and ‘proof of concept work’, that could be commissioned services of the future, funding to continue existing commissioned services and statutory sources of income to fund our core services and key projects.

The successful candidate will be results driven, have a make things happen approach and bring a consistent track record of developing strategic partnerships and securing income to increase impact. You will have excellent senior leadership skills, focused on developing a strategic vision, in motivating a skilled team, in garnering support from colleagues and external networks and in delivering against targets and deadlines

Location: Mortlake, South West London but homeworking at present
Job type: Part Time, Permanent.
Hours: 21 to 28 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 pro rata
