The NCA leads the UK’s fight against serious and organised crime. We lead our own operations, develop and disseminate intelligence to partners, support and coordinate national and international activity. We also provide specialist high-end capabilities to support police and partners in law enforcement.

Intelligence Directorate works collaboratively with NCA Investigations Directorate and partners to deliver a unified response to serious and organised crime threats.

We are currently recruiting for the following Heads of Intelligence Roles:

● Head of National Targeting Centre
● Head of Technical Collection
● Head of Threat Leadership
● Head of Human Intelligence, Operations
● Head of National Assessment Centre
● Deputy to the DD International and Head of Region (Middle East and Asia)

The ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate a wide understanding and experience of the operational environment will have extensive knowledge of the legal boundaries of working in this area and will be comfortable working within them. We are looking for ambitious and innovative approaches to the ways of working and delivering operational success.

Candidates will also have the ability to understand the broader Serious Organised Crime environment and how the Intelligence Directorate, and their command, fits within this. Applicants will have the ability to take the senior leadership’s intent and proactively translate it into business activity using their experience, knowledge and operational credibility to deliver successful outcomes and display confidence while dealing with partner organisations.

In order to help potential applicants learn more about the National Crime Agency, and what we do, we will be hosting a number of open evenings at our sites in London and Warrington. You will have the opportunity to hear from some of our senior leadership team, as well as meeting some of our officers already working at Grade 1 level from across our business.
