The NCA leads the UK’s fight against serious and organised crime. We lead our own operations, develop and disseminate intelligence to partners, support and coordinate national and international activity. We also provide specialist high-end capabilities to support police and partners in law enforcement.
For the first time, the UK has a single unit with the responsibility and capability to lead the overall response to Cyber Crime. The National Cyber Crime Unit is responsible for coordinating activity across a range of partners and providing specialist cyber support and expertise across law enforcement.
Working on a national and international level we respond in fast time to rapidly changing threats. This is done using innovative approaches and ground breaking techniques to target cyber criminals causing the greatest threat.
We are looking for an outstanding candidate to lead on the Agency’s cyber intelligence resources, transforming the way the Agency collects, amalgamates and disseminates intelligence on key cyber threats.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
• Work across law enforcement and private sector partners to agree and develop an understanding and plan to tackle the UK’s most significant cyber threats.
• Identify and develop the capabilities, technologies, infrastructure and relationships needed to deliver maximum impact in the cyber crime arena.
• Measure and report performance, ensuring that the agency is delivering against agreed plans and priorities, working strategically with partners to maximise public protection.
To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for Cyber, have an in-depth knowledge of the legal boundaries and how to operate within them, with the ability to innovate and develop new ways of working.

You will have the opportunity to hear from some of our senior leadership team, as well as meeting some of our officers already working at Grade 1 level from across our business.
