Health and Safety Co-ordinator

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, the Health and Safety Co-ordinator will provide a full & comprehensive Health & Safety function across a diverse workforce and monitor / report on agreed H&S Key Performance Indicators.

You will assist with risk assessments, audits and inspections with a follow up on H&S Action plans and report on progress. You’ll responsible for compilation of Accident records, Safe systems of work, accident investigations and RIDDOR reports whilst liasing and supporting the management / supervisory team to initiate, monitor and review Health & Safety within their areas of responsibility.

About You:

To be successful in this role you must hold a NEBOSH General or NCRQ Certificate; ideally Tech IOSH with a minimum of 2 years experience providing support to H&S department. You will have demonstrable experience of coordinating and maintaining a Health & Safety service across multiple locations accompanied with good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook Calendar).

It would be beneficial if you have experience of working within Social Housing but we’d also love to hear from you if you have strong time management skills ability to work toward deadlines and a keen interest In learning and developing within a health and safety role.

You may have experience of the following: Health and Safety Coordinator, Safety, Health & Safety Manager, NEBOSH, IOSH, HS Coordinator, etc.
