Salary: £23,541 - £27,041 pro rata per annum
Job type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 30 per week

About the role:

You will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of workers/learners achieve their Health and Social Care qualifications at L3 and L5. You will do this through conducting progressive visits with each learner every month and supporting, motivating and encouraging them to achieve their qualification within the agreed time frames.

About you:

- An occupational background in Health and social care, preferably children’s care service.
- A Level 5 or above relevant Health and Social Care qualification
- Previous IV/Assessor experience for at least two years
- A Level 4 relevant QCF qualification or equivalent or willingness to commence upon appointment.

Please note: If appointed, you must be prepared to work across any Birtenshaw location with a current need to work from home on some days due to Covid.

About Birtenshaw Children’s Home:

Birtenshaw was established in the 1950s by a group of parents as a special school for young children with cerebral palsy. Today Birtenshaw provides a unique range of services for children and adults, with learning disability including Autism Spectrum Conditions and/or significant physical disability, including complex health needs. We run a Special School, several children’s homes a short break centre and provide a range of therapeutic health and wellbeing services.
