The NCA is leading on this major independent investigation into non-familial child sexual exploitation and abuse in Rotherham, South Yorkshire and we are growing the team to ensure that we continue to focus on the needs of the victims and survivors and drive forward our enquiries as quickly as we can.
The complexity of the investigation is unparalleled. Victims and survivors have been exploited or abused by many individuals in locations across the UK over a number of years. The majority of suspects have offended against more than one victim and many have been involved in organised trafficking.
The operation is set up in line with the Major Incident Room Standard Administrative Procedures (MIRSAP) and uses the HOLMES data system as well as NCA Intelligence databases.

Responsibilities
Duties will include:• To undertake word processing/ audio duties in connection with files, statements and reports as required.
• To provide full transcripts from audio or video courses of significant witnesses and offenders in accordance with the Prosecution Team Manual of guidance and the Major Incident Room Standardisation Administration Procedures (MIRSAP).
• To carry out proof reading of documentation and any necessary amendments.
• To utilise the scanning and multimedia facilities to attach material to HOLMES.
• To share responsibility of clerical duties as directed by the Index Manager or Supervisor.
• To use and research the indices of the HOLMES database to assist the role.
• To answer the telephone and record appropriate information on a message form.
• To operate in a professional, confident manner ensuring the security and safety of all equipment and information.
