Housekeeping Assistant (Part time, three posts)

£9.30 per hour

Working within the halls of residence on University Park main duties will include the cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and other public areas to a high standard providing excellent customer service at all times. Tasks will involve the manipulation of furniture, making beds and the removal of rubbish in a working environment which can be demanding. Full training will be given and previous cleaning experience is not essential. 

The hours of work for these posts are available at either 17.5, 16 or 15 hours per week, worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged, mainly between 8.00am and 1.00pm including regular weekends for 52 weeks of the year, flexibility will be required. This role attracts a 20% allowance for hours worked at the weekend.

The successful candidates for these posts will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities training courses which will run each day, Monday to Friday mornings on the first week of appointment. Further details will be given at interview.
