Position Summary


No day in this role is ever the same! Reporting to the Head of HR Beverages, Nestle Professional and Starbucks this position offers a unique opportunity to become close to three exciting and different business categories. Namely Beverages with a retail focus, Nestle Professional with its focus on Out of home and the Starbucks regional team with its focus across Europe.

This position has a vital role to play in enabling the categories to deliver on their category people plans. This is an exciting role, where you will work closely with all areas of the businesses providing best in class HR support, guidance and governance enabling them to be fit for the future through brilliant people initiatives.

A day in the life of a HR Business Partner


This role offers a real opportunity to partner these businesses and leaders as their trusted Business Partner from day one, providing HR support, coaching and development in order to support our business and our people to reach their full potential. This role will need you to get to the heart of people issues and work with a creative mindset to develop fit for purpose solutions in line with the business strategy and plans, always working with a continuous improvement approach.

You will:

  • Support the execution of highly effective and engaging people strategies, including talent management, organisational design and development, employee relations and employee engagement. You may also lead some of the people transformation activities for the category.
  • Act as a change enabler, developing and guiding the people needs and capabilities to continually adapt and be fit for the future. You will play a key role in ensuring the teams have the right resource, skills and capabilities to be successful.
  • Foster an environment of inclusive people policies and activities, and build upon our cultural journey to enable the teams to feel a strong sense of value, inclusion and belonging
  • Coach and develop leaders and local line managers, supporting them in building high performing, engaged teams through effective people processes. Develop capability to ensure our people understand the HR model we work within and can efficiently access the solutions they need with ease
  • Work with the wider HR team to develop our HR practices and processes and act as a core member of the wider HR Business Partner community

What will make you successful


Your career so far will demonstrate a soundtrack record within operational and /or commercial HR with a strong knowledge of core HR processes such as performance management, talent management, recruitment and resourcing, employee relations, employment law, and organisational change. You will have a proven track record of working within an HR role delivering tangible outcomes that make a real difference to the business and your customer group. You will need to have a collaborative, relationship led approach and a pragmatic ‘can do’ mindset in order to be successful in this role, along with the ability to influence with integrity and prioritise.
