HR Co-ordinator [Temporary Cover] (Part Time)

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our dedicated HR team as a HR Co-ordinator from 1st March 2021 or as soon as possible after that date.

Reporting to the Assistant Secretary and working alongside two other HR Co-ordinators, you will cover a wide range of HR activities in the Department, in accordance with HR best practice, legislation and both departmental and university policies. You will provide advice to employees or line managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, on-boarding, payroll, the administration of periodic and annual exercises and undertaking specific projects such as those relating to the Department's Athena SWAN initiatives.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in a HR environment, and has excellent communication and team working skills. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, so we would like to find someone who is able to work independently, to tight timescales and is able to adapt to the ever changing circumstances when unexpected priorities arise.

Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 12 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
