Edwards has an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager part-time (25hrs per week) based in our Eastbourne site.
Purpose of the role:
To provide high quality HR support to the Eastbourne site, determining and implementing strategic HR plans that underpin Product Company (PC) business plans and ensuring provision of operational HR support as required.
To contribute to the development of the UK wide HR strategy, ensuring that it serves to attract, manage, develop, and retain the employees the business needs to achieve current and future business objectives in a cost-effective way
To lead on complex employee relation cases and to support at internal appeal meetings or external tribunals as required

The Eastbourne site has c190 employees, the HR Manager will have 2-3 direct reportsand reports to the GM of Eastbourne site, with dotted line report to the HRVP.
Skilled and Experience:
Degree or equivalent post-graduate HR qualification (CIPD)
Extensive experience in HR with the majority of that time spent in a generalist role, preferably in a manufacturing organisation.
Experience of dealing with Senior Leadership teams
Up to date knowledge of appropriate employment legislation and evidence of putting employment law knowledge into practice.
Experience of operating a continuously changing and evolving environment.
Experience of supporting/delivering culture change projects
Line management experience.
This role is being offered on a part-time basis of 25hrs per week, over 4 or 5 days and is a 100% office based. Flexible working with core hours is available and the Eastbourne site does a half day on a Friday.
