Here at XPO Logistics, as the result of a new business win, we’re recruiting for a part-time HR Manager on a 6-9 month fixed-term contract basis. We'll let you dictate the hours/ days you'd like to work as we appreciate that this will be different for everyone!

Our site in Dover has never had an on-site HR presence and this is where you come in. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to set up and lead on all HR initiatives on site. Are you ready for the challenge?

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum (pro-rata). In addition, we offer 25 days holiday, pro-rata, (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

Support the site with all HR activities including embedding our XPO culture and values

Work closely with the senior management team to bring the team together as one

Carry out HR related training for managers to give them the tools they need

Facilitate harmonious employee relations with the site teams and respective Trade Union representatives to ensure optimum working efficiency within the operation

What you need to succeed at XPO:

Demonstrable experience in a similar HR Management role

A proven track record in change management

Be organised and detail conscious

Strong interpersonal, leadership and motivational skills

Please note that for this role, you will be required to go through SC Level Security Clearance.
