Learning Support Assistant - Part time

Bourne Community College is a popular school which is seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work with students with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be working within the Bourne Student Support Centre for children with social communication needs and will be expected to plan and resource lessons for 1 to 1 or small group sessions and provide in-class support across the curriculum.

Candidates must have some experience of working with children with special educational needs and have a high standard of communication, numeracy and literacy, preferably GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent and be able to promote these effectively to ensure we deliver outstanding academic outcomes.

This is a fixed term position at present, it may become permanent or more hours in the future. At present it will be for 15hrs per week, term time only, plus INSET Days, to start asap/April 2021. The hours will be 8.00 am – 1.00 pm, 3 days per week.

Salary: Grade 4 Points 5-6 with a salary range of £19312 - £19698 p.a. pro-rata. (Approx. £6625-£6757 p.a.)
