Location: Flexible - Wolverhampton, Tewkesbury or Chipping Sodbury

Salary: Circa £24,600 per annum pro rata (+ up to 10% PRP)

Reporting to the commercial property solicitor, your role as legal property coordinator is to play a key support role within the Legal Property team, managing a case load of legal transactions in-line with agreed processes, providing an excellent customer service.

You’ll Co-ordinate own case load negotiating and making decisions within agreed parameters to include key legal transactions such as:

  • Wayleaves, permissions and licenses
  • Deeds of release, easement applications, litigation, planning applications and land contamination issues
  • Support and co-ordinate land registry applications
  • Support with Lease extensions, lease variations, and collective enfranchisement
  • You’ll support with the consultation with leaseholders and residents to develop, implement, monitor and review effective service standards in relation to chargeable services. You’ll help with the executing Bromford’s obligations under the Section 20 Legislation across the organisation, including serving relevant statutory notices, calculation of Major Works Invoices & Customer Service Charges and management of resulting customer queries/complaints.

    You’ll also support with the data support for the purpose of the right to buy and right to acquire processes. Deed of Postponements, S156/A

    You will support with the management of all Lease activity for Commercial Property including New Leases, Lease Renewals, Lease Assignments S157 North Priory & enforcement of existing lease terms. You’ll liaise with solicitors and both internal and external customers ensuring you provide specialist advice and information as required (escalating to manager as appropriate) and respond to technical/legal advice regarding boundary and ownership enquiries.

    This is a roaming role and can be based from our Wolverhampton, Tewkesbury or Chipping Sodbury offices and will involve occasional travel across our geography to attend meetings when required, so you must hold a full, clean driving licence.

    This is a part time role working 26.25 hours per week with these hours ideally being worked over 4 days per week

    As legal property coordinator, you will bring:

  • Proven experience working in a similar role
  • Experience managing a high caseload
  • Working knowledge needed around legal, title and property documents
  • A legal degree is desirable but not essential for the role
  • Ability to use own initiative and able to work independently but know when to escalate and seek advice
  • Strong ICT skills
  • A flexible working attitude demonstrated reliability

  • Your experience in previous roles could include commercial property coordinator, legal administrator, property coordinator, housing administrator, residential property coordinator, amongst others.
