Christmas is almost upon us and this year it has brought over 40 late shift and 50 night shift mail sorting opportunities at Royal Mail’s Swindon branch for efficient and organised individuals who thrive in a fast paced atmosphere. 

From cards to gifts, letters to Santa and the all-important Christmas jumpers, a mail centre can process over a million items in any one shift. Staff who can work to efficient process methods and adapt to various roles are the key to making the processing chain run smoothly. 

This is your chance to become an integral part of the Royal Mail team as a mail sorter, helping to deliver a one-price-goes-anywhere postal service to 29 million addresses across the UK.  

Joining Royal Mail in the Swindon branch as a Mail Sorter provides a varied role that includes unloading mail from vans, moving it around in trolleys, manually sorting parcels or letters and operating machinery.  

The Swindon branch is situated just 4 miles east of Swindon centre, approximately 11 minutes by car or 24 minutes by bus (no. 14) from Swindon centre’s Fleming Way bus stop.
