Maintenance / Facilities Manager– Premier Inn
Our 400 room hotel at Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport, is unique operation that requires a hands on Maintence / Facilities Manager to lead a team of 4 who are responsible for the general maintence of the building ensuring exceptionally high standards are met for our guests.
Working to brand specifications you’ll carry out a preventive maintenance programme to ensure facilities are maintained and in service for our guests, while taking immediate actions to correct any deficiencies. It’s essential you are confident in cost management and can take accountability for ensuring and maintaining adequate stock levels and controls are within budget guidelines. With a passion for our guests will have the ability to act as Duty Manager where required and be confident in a guest facing position. Full understanding of health and safety legislation is desirable and excellent organisational skills and time management is essential. You will play a vital part in the hotel’s management team, reporting directly to the Hotel Manager. Our Property Managers lead their teams to ensure that guests enjoy a consistently perfect Premier Inn stay. Super organised and committed to the highest standards, you'll be all about enabling your team. That includes helping new people to find their way and established team members to develop their skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development. Making sure everything works from controlling the schedule, to ensuring the site is consistently at the highest standard will impact on guests so you'll be relentlessly focused on ensuring they enjoy the best possible experience.
What we’re looking for
Ideally, you'll have experience gained in a similar role or environment as this role would suit a facilities manager looking for a new opportunity. You’ll have experience in managing a maintenance team with a clear passion for recruiting, leading and developing team members, planning your rota to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved in line with labour controls. You will have an experience of Property / Facility Management as well as health and safety and working efficiently. Though more important than this is an adaptable approach, clear guest focus and an eye for detail.
