An exciting opportunity has become available for you to join our family at Strawberry Hill Nursery in Edinburgh, working as part of the Award-Winning Bertram Nursery Group.
We pride ourselves on offering children a wide range of activities and all of our children have access to outdoor play areas offering the opportunity for regular outdoor learning experiences across all areas of the curriculum. Playrooms within our nursery are generously proportioned, carefully planned and extensively resourced to create inspiring learning environments in which children can grow and learn with confidence.
The role requires the successful applicant to be a positive role model and an enthusiastic individual who holds a similar passion for inspiring early years learning. We are looking for a good communicator and someone who has a true desire in wanting to work with children.
Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Providing quality care to children from birth to five years.
- Basic administrative duties relating to the care of the children.
- Being involved in planning and evaluating activities.
- Developing your own skills & knowledge in effective child-care practice.
Nursery Practitioner Requirements:
- SVQ 3, HNC or equivalent in Early Years Education and Care.
- Good practice and work in a positive manner.
- One year’s experience with children aged 0-5 is preferable but not essential.
