As an On-board Customer Service Assistant (OCSA) you will run your own bar, selling hot and cold refreshments to the passengers on our boats that travel up and down the Thames from North Greenwich Pier into London every day.

We will give you full training so you’ll know how to use our coffee machines. You’ll be in charge of all stock on-board, ensuring your bar is kept clean and presentable during your shift and ensuring passenger safety at all times.

We are looking for smiley, friendly, approachable people. You’ll meet tourists from all over the world and our commuters who use our service daily, so you need to be comfortable chatting to all types of people and making sure they have a great experience with us.

As this role is based on a boat, you need to be able to work on the water. If you suffer from travel sickness this role might not be for you!

Important information: This is a shift based role, working weekends or weekdays.

We are offering:

  • Full time contracts working 42 hours per week (4 days on and 2 days off)
  • Zero hour contracts where you need to collect 8 points a month – weekend days are worth 2 points each and weekdays are worth half a point. You choose your shifts a month in advance.

Shifts can either start at 4am in the morning or finish at 1.30am at night, therefore you will need to be able to get to and from North Greenwich Pier sometimes before the tube starts or after it finishes.

Where: All our boats leave from North Greenwich Pier, based close to The O2 and North Greenwich Tube station.

When: Our next assessment centre is on 9 March 2020.

These are the only dates we will be holding the assessment. To find out more about our assessment centres: https://careers.aegeurope.com/faqs

You will need to be able to start work with us on Monday 30 March 2020.
